If you have little ones you know they leave behind more than their weight in debris (especially in the car). Use the cardboard from a paper towel to stuff in grocery bags. It's compact and you'll always have bags to put trash in. Also, if you shop at places like Aldi that don't provide free grocery bags, grab the roll and take it with you and won't have to pay for bags.
