Best By Date and Sell By Date can be confusing. It doesn't necessarily mean you should throw produce out after that date. The producer believes after this date the item might not taste the best.
If you have any doubt about eggs, fill a bowl with water and put an egg in. If it sinks, it's okay to eat. If it floats, throw it out.
