My cousin in England sent me a great tip for using in the fireplace.
Dry out used tea bags. Melt any leftover pieces of candle and pour the wax on to the tea bags. Use for fire starters.
Other suggestions I have seen is using egg carton (the cardboard kind) for a mold. Place a tea bag into each compartment then pour wax on top. Make sure you have a metal tray to catch any dripping wax. You can tear off each piece and use separately once the wax has solidified.
Note: The wax is best melted in a double boiler or in an old heat safe bowl in a saucepan of hot water (make sure the water doesn't get in with the wax) or you can melt it in an oven-proof container at 300 degrees until melted.
