Wise Spending

Most of the items on this list I've already addressed, but it doesn't hurt to have a reminder. Check out the Money Article on shopping habits.

Note: There are some tips on how to save money at the end of the article but I don't consider moving in with parents to save $50,000 for a wedding and $25,000 for a honeymoon a wise way to spend money.

Wise Spending

Most advertisers don't tell you the total amount of an item (especially auto ads) they, instead, give you a monthly amount. But to decide if it's worth the price, whether it's an expensive pair of shoes or a high priced item, work out how many hours you will have to work to pay for it. Imagine working extra hours over and above your normal work week. You may decide it's not worth the high price after all.
