Recycle Cans

This is an easy project and make great teacher gifts.

I buy the paint sample jars from our local hardware store which is cheaper than buying individual craft paints. After applying two or three coats, glue ribbon around the can and then add an embellishment. I cut out flower shapes from an old encyclopedia and glued a button in the middle.

You can add candy, pencils, or even insert a glass jar and use as a vase.

Teacher Gifts

Teachers have a tough job and it's a nice gesture to let them know they are appreciated throughout the year.  Here are some ideas for gifts. As an added bonus you can always add a gift card.

First Week of School - Caffeine and Chocolate

I changed this tag a little and took out the words "carry out". Instead of using jars I put coffee and chocolates in a coffee mug and clear bag. This doesn't have to be an expensive gift. I bought a box of individual coffee sachets from the 99c only store, the mug  and clear bags were from DollarTree and the chocolate bars from Aldi.
