There are several sites that have great ideas for pre-made lunches.
I bought six baskets of different colors at DollarTree (two for each grandchild) I put three in the refrigerator and three in the pantry. They can each choose bars, pretzels (packaged in individual bags) and other dry items for their baskets. In the fridge are individual bags of fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat or sandwiches. Make enough for the whole week and they will be able to put together their lunches quickly.
Note: I used sandwich bags but intend to buy small containers to re-use.
