I can find $3,000 in Your Home

In I can Find $3,000 in Your Home, Linda Lightman goes through someone's home and finds 52 items collectively worth $3,000 or more.  Most of the time she finds designer clothes, shoes and jewelry which increases the amount significantly but it's worth watching to get some tips.

She sells on E-Bay under the name "Linda's Stuff"

When selling tech. items, make sure you put the make and model number, you can look those up to see how much they are selling for (she mainly uses e-bay)

She suggests making a note "for local pickup only" for larger items (or you could use Craig's List)

Bundle items such as picture frames (they sell well for craft projects)

Make sure you end an Auction on Sunday when most people are at home.

Her favorite items are those in the original packaging/box with the tag still attached (don't remove the item from the packaging, buyers want to see it wrapped and unused)

Use crisp, white backgrounds for your photographs or for clothes or jewelry items, model them (you're selling a lifestyle she says) Also, I noted she doesn't include the face of the model.
