Getting the Most from Lotion Bottles

Whether it's shampoo, conditioner, moisturizing cream, foundation or other types of lotion, there is always a large amount in the bottom of the bottle that's difficult to get out. I find this especially true of ones that have a pump on them. Instead of discarding the container, cut the top off and scrape the remainder out. The small ice cream/gelato spoons work great for this or a plastic knife. After cutting the top off the foundation bottle I was able to use the contents for three weeks before discarding it (cover with plastic wrap to prevent the cream from drying out).
