Re-Using Milk Cartons
I'm always finding uses for milk cartons or cardboard tubes so keep a box of them for when the grandkids come over.
Instead of making gingerbread houses, which always seem to be broken when you open the box, we cut the bottoms off milk cartons, painted them and used old Christmas cards to paste on and "snow" to decorate. Around the spout, I rolled paper to make a chimney. It was a fun afternoon.
