Don't assume larger containers offer value for money. Always compare the unit price. I've often found that laundry detergent is more expensive in the larger containers. Also, make sure you know prices at the grocery store and dollar stores for items before purchasing at membership stores like Costco and Sams. They may not be cheaper. And is it a produce that will likely expire before you can reasonably use it up? Although there may be a long expiration date as far as purchasing the item, it may not last long once it is opened.
