When you need remodeling or repairs, finding a plumber, electrician or contractor can be daunting. Ask neighbors who they have used and if they were happy with the service. Also ask for e-mail addresses and let them know you are compiling a list. Once you have all the information together, send out an e-mail with the names and addresses of the businesses to each of the neighbors who participated (and any others who have showed an interest). Ask to be contacted if they want to add updates. It's a good way to meet neighbors too.
