Wise Shopping

I'm sure, like most of us, you've found a bargain at a sale or something you've been looking for at a yard sale but have no idea if the color or the size will work in your home.
I know most of us rely on digital options to keep track of things, but I've found that by keeping a book of color swatches and sizes with me, it has saved me from making a purchase that doesn't work.
The small 4 1/2" x 6" photo books that most dollar stores carry are great. Choose one with clear plastic inserts, add your swatches and a page to list sizes for furniture or other items.
