My fridge isn't new, but apart from the discolored handles, it looks fine. The problem with the handles is that they are made of plastic and discolor over time. Cleaning doesn't help to remove the stains. You can purchase new ones, but on my GE model that would mean purchasing 6 parts which are not inexpensive.While researching on You Tube I found that these can be spray painted and it was fairly easy to take them off (see You Tube video below). You need to look for spray paint for plastic. I used Krylon for Plastic from Walmart. You will also need a star screwdriver. Less than $5 for a fridge that looks like new.
