Magazine Subscription Scams

I've found that magazine subscriptions get more and more difficult to keep track of these days with their automatic renewal and constant renewal offers when the subscription is nowhere near the renewal date. (Make sure you make a note of renewal dates on your calendar or keep a folder with subscription info.)
Don't assume that because you are getting a renewal notice that it is from the publisher. Usually you will receive a legitimate notice in with your last copy of the magazine at the end of the subscription period. Ignore the ones that come in the mail as they may be a scam.
