You can purchase kits to cut out envelopes for greeting cards, but taking apart an envelope and making a template is easy to do. Once you have opened up the envelope, draw around it on a piece of cardboard and then cut the cardboard out. Place the cardboard on paper you wish to use as an envelope (a friend of mine uses calendar pictures). Draw around the cardboard and cut out the paper. Use double sided tape or glue to stick it together.
