Cleaning a Shower Head

Mineral deposits build up in the shower heads, making many of the jets clog. CLR works well but over $5 per container is expensive. Instead, remove the shower head and soak in distilled white vinegar for an hour or so. Rinse the shower head and also run water through the spigot to remove any debris in the shower arm pipe.

Note: you could also tape a bag to the shower head without removing it.
