Low Cost Entertainment

Movies - If the majority of your entertainment money goes to movies, get a membership at Netflix, or better still check out DVDs at your local library.

Volunteer - Think about volunteering at an event you'd like to attend.

Museums – Many museums offer free admission.

Fort Worth Museums (Check web sites to confirm days and times)
The Modern – Free the first Sunday of each month and every Wednesday
National Cowgirl Museum– Free the last Friday of every month between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Monnig Museum (Meteor Gallery) – Open 1 PM to 4:00 PM Tuesday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday
Fire Station No. 1 150 Years of Fort Worth – No admission fee
Stockyards Museum – No admission fee
Leonard's Department Store Museum  – Open Monday 10:00 – 3:00, Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 – 8:00
Sid Richardson Museum – Admission free
Kimbell Art Museum – Half Price Tuesdays and Fridays between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM
White Settlement Museum – Admission Free
Amon Carter Museum - Admission Free

Gardens – Our local botanical gardens does not charge an entrance fee  for the main gardens - Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.
